Boise State Vs. Oklahoma [Jan. 2nd, 2007|03:29 pm]
I expected this to be a blowout by OU, but Boise State had other plans. That team is great to watch and the plays they called to send the game into overtime and win it were crazy. It will be on Espn Classic in the next couple of weeks. Do your self a favor watch it.

Nintendo Wii [Dec. 19th, 2006|03:17 pm]
I picked up a Nintendo Wii one month ago and thought it would be a great add on to having the Xbox 360. But last night was the first time I touched my 360 since then. The Wii is greatness!!!! I have Super Swing Golf, Elebits, Zelda, Red Steel & Wii Sports. My wife plays Wii Sports more than I do. And she hates video games.

Heroes [Oct. 10th, 2006|01:28 pm]
This is a new show on NBC. The 3rd episode aired last night and it is getting better as it goes. When I first started hearing about this show, I didn't expect much. But, it is excellent. From the promos, before the series started, I didn't care for the cheerleader or the Japanese guy. Those 2 have become my favorite characters so far. That was a great ending last night.

Lost kicked off it's 3rd Season last night. I think this was the best episode since somewhere in Season 1. I don't want to spoil it, but the first 5 minutes was great.

Huh?? [Oct. 4th, 2006|09:36 am]
Academy Award® Nominee Robert Downey Jr. will take on the role of one of Marvel's greatest Super Heroes, signing on as the title character for Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Iron Man. This project, the first feature film to be produced independently by Marvel Entertainment, will launch into theaters May 2, 2008. The film is being directed by Jon Favreau and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures.

Downey is widely recognized as one of Hollywood's most versatile actors. Nominated for an Oscar® for his extraordinary portrayal of Charlie Chaplin in "Chaplin," Downey has been featured in more than 50 films. His upcoming credits include "Fur" (co-starring Nicole Kidman), "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints," and the David Fincher film "Zodiac." He has also recently been seen in such films as: "A Scanner Darkly," "The Shaggy Dog," "Good Night, And Good Luck.," "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang," "Gothika," "The Singing Detective" and "Wonder Boys."

Based upon Marvel's iconic Super Hero, Iron Man tells the story of Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to America, Tony must come to terms with his past. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man.

"Robert Downey Jr. is one of the most talented and acclaimed actors of this generation. His versatility sets him apart and makes him an ideal fit to play such a complex character as Iron Man. We could not think of another actor better suited to bring one of Marvel's crown jewels to the big screen and be the centerpiece of our first independently produced feature," said Kevin Feige, President of Production, Marvel Studios.

Marvel Studios is currently casting all supporting roles. Filming is slated to begin in Los Angeles in February 2007.

Iron Man will be produced by Feige and Avi Arad. Executive Producers are Michael Helfant, Ari Arad, Favreau, Louis D'Esposito and Peter Billingsley. Downey is represented by CAA.

F.E.A.R. [Sep. 25th, 2006|09:40 am]
Heads up Xbox 360 fans! A new demo of First Encounter Assault Recon, also known as F.E.A.R. is now available on the Marketplace. This horror-themed FPS demo is only 542MB, but it features a gameplay filled with pure shooting frenzy in a dark, eerie place.

The AI in the game is one of its best feature as enemies will use all sorts of strategies to defeat you, but they can be real cowards if they feel threatened - by hiding behind corners, jumping through the windows or ducking under crawlspaces. The environment looks realistic enough to scare you off your wits, even the blood splattering across the walls is such a scary sight.
Additionally, you will be able to shoot through walls, doors and windows that provide better advantage in strategy.

GAMESTOP - WII RESERVE [Sep. 18th, 2006|09:44 am]
This is a great idea for controlling the money for pre-orders. Many times people dont show up for their pre-orders or cancel them. This keeps them from getting any cash back if they cancel or dont show up (and get mad because they have to wait, so they go to walmart instead and cancel). EB/gamestop wont have to give any cash back. Your $50 will stick as store credit of which you have to buy something from them. They get you coming and going! Its actually ingenious. And if they do like they did with they 360, where instead just being the system for 400.00 when you showed up you had to spend 800.00 on a bundle and you don't want to do that they still get your money.

Rejoice, sing out, do a cartwheel, eat ice cream, dance the cha-cha, and get down on your knees and pray thanks to whoever it is that you pray to, because Ubisoft - the same company that created the Prince of Persia trilogy for the PS2 - has finally sent out word to the world (well, to the friendly people over at IGN anyway) that YES, Assassin's Creed WILL be coming to the Xbox 360 as well.

Months of guessing if it will be exclusive for the PS3 and the announcement days ago that the title will be available on the PC may have prompted this follow-up. It has also been noted that the release of for the Xbox will coincide with its PS3 release in the first quarter of 2007.
